This kitchen is a fine example of how high-end materials, together with a crisp design, can create a space with sophisticated character. Beautiful, soft tones emanate from the timber cabinetry, which has been carefully crafted from Victorian ash. Together with the creamy hues of the tiles, the timber provides a classic contrast to the stainless-steel appliances.
The owners of this kitchen wanted something special for their new home but they had to work to a budget. When they visited a display home, the original kitchen was in laminate and the material didn’t do the space justice. To provide a feeling of style and grace, the owners decided to go for the more luxurious option of Victorian ash timber. A tall corner pantry unit, handy storage cupboards and deep drawers with the Metabox Blum drawer system provide the owners with a host of storage options.
Cleverly hidden beside the pantry is an appliance cupboard for the microwave, featuring a folding door constructed from timber. Leadlight panels create a subtle contrast in texture, breaking up the solid wooden cabinetry and creating a space for displaying treasured items. The stunning dining suite provides an additional statement of class, resulting in an entertainment area that looks attractive and is highly appreciated. With its clean lines and gorgeous surfaces, this kitchen is allowed to truly blend with the design of the house.
