After searching high and low for a minimalist, easy kitchen design, these owners decided to simply renovate their existing kitchen to suit their needs. With the help of Rosemount Kitchens, a high quality, uncluttered and easy to use kitchen was created.
“Our brief was to completely refurbish this 15-year-old apartment. The owners are experienced travellers and wanted a clean and minimal design for their new home. In response to their brief, we selected quality fittings and storage solutions for a sleek and uncluttered finish. We reconfigured the plan for easy access to laundry appliances, which are concealed behind cupboard doors as an extension to the kitchen. In the kitchen, we selected Blum electronic hardware for automatic opening and closing of drawers and for lift-up panels at over-head storage. The island bench features an underslung sink, a pop-up power outlet and a Billi tap for instant chilled or boiling water. White two-pack cabinets paired with Caesarstone Swan Lake benchtops give the owners an option to accessorise with colour in the future. Integrated appliances and a custom-made stainless trim around the fridge add an element of sophistication to this thoroughly modern kitchen.”
