Originally a laundry and simple wetsuit shower, Reece bathrooms moved this clients laundry elsewhere and created this hidden, large, clean, crisp and cool bathroom.
“Guests are constantly amazed at what they find behind our oversized door. Originally a laundry and simple wetsuit shower, we moved the laundry elsewhere and created this large, clean, crisp and cool bathroom. It’s directly off the home’s entry so we can come straight in from the beach. Robust materials were chosen to cope with the frequent use and sand. The open shower has room to wash our boards while the vanity is beautiful and sleek. We chose minimal and functional tapware that our three-year-old could use. I love the mix of natural and dimmer light. The house has high ceilings that allowed us a full-height mirror. People can’t believe the floor tiles aren’t wooden boards. Everything came from Reece. After only an hour in the showroom, a product list was given to our builder. I wouldn’t change a thing. From the bathtub, you look into the garden and hear the ocean. It’s a secret sanctuary. Or, if needed, two of us can be in the bath, one in the shower and our dog pokes his head through the open window — so the whole family gets to use the bathroom at once.”
