This beachside apartment has been done justice, with a new kitchen creating storage space and adding a modern contemporary feel.
“Not so long ago, the kitchen was a burden to this beachside apartment. Cramped and outdated, it had long passed its use-by date and was dragging the unit down with it. To improve the liveability and value of the home, it was wisely decided by the owners to build a new kitchen in its place and, with our help, the space was transformed. The size of the kitchen could have been a setback for the design but the volume of the space was carefully considered in every element of planning and its limitations were overcome. Mirror splashbacks were used to create a spacious feel and the display cabinets are finished with glass doors, which work to open up the room. Full-groove two-pack cabinetry and panels were crafted to make the kitchen appear taller and beautiful. All these elements come together harmoniously to create an inviting design that looks and feels light and bright. The country look of the new kitchen is continued into the lounge room with a sprawling entertainment unit, also built by us. It works to connect the two areas and is another example of excellent use of space in the design. After years of being dominated by poky spaces and ill-conceived design, this apartment is now open and ready for entertaining.”
