Founded in 1911 by Thomas Howard Brown, and it was his sons Peter and Napier Brown who went on to further develop the business making it one of the largest furniture manufacturers in Australia.
Peter Brown’s designs and production skills firmly established TH Brown as the leading mid-century modern furniture leader that the brand became and remains famous for.
Peters’ son Simon Brown and his wife Toni relaunched the TH Brown brand in 2017 and began researching the vast back catalogue of his father’s designs. The newly reissued items continue to be produced under license by Workspace Commercial Furniture (formerly TH Brown Furniture P/L), under the nuanced eye of the duo who are now reissuing the most iconic and highly collected pieces, all of which are finished to the same exacting standards as the original pieces.
Each TH Brown piece is individually numbered and comes with a 10 year Warranty and a Certificate of Authenticity. All timber, leather packaging and materials are ethically sourced.
