New South Homes brings together a dedicated and ardent team of architects, designers, builders, project managers, administrative assistants and customer relationship managers that share the same passion for providing the best possible service to the Design, Approval and Construction of high-quality custom homes, duplexes, townhouses and granny flats.
Established in 2016 by brothers Michael and Joe Antoun and their brother-in-law, Wally Gebrael, New South Homes was born in response to the overwhelming requests our team received from both existing and new clients of our sister company, Granny Flat Solutions to design, approve and construct houses and dual occupancies.
Our journey started in 1985, with the creation of BuildSense Solutions, by Joe Antoun. Joe had six years of industry experience in home renovations, additions and extensions, and new home builds. At this time, Michael was working in a high-level corporate marketing role, and Wally was working as a building designer and approvals coordinator for his own company, AWG Designs. In 2012, Joe, Michael and Wally identified a growing demand for affordable housing in Sydney’s inflated property market. With Michael’s expertise in executive sales and corporate marketing, Joe’s 30+ years of experience and Master Builder accreditation, and Wally’s second-to-none knowledge in architecture, design and approval legislation, Granny Flat Solutions was established.
In the first year of operation, Granny Flat Solutions had 3 employees (the directors – Michael, Joe & Wally), building only 8 Granny Flats. Our company has grown to employ over 35 talented staff members, building over 300 Granny Flats a year in the greater Sydney region, Central Coast and the Illawarra.
