Over the weekend, the Melbourne Exhibition Centre hosted the Build and Renovating Expo. Held right in the middle of school holidays, the expo provided family friendly activities with a range of interactive features for the both kids and adults to enjoy.
As always, there were plenty of useful building tips and design inspiration ideas. Seminars were conducted throughout the three days with plenty of diverse topics including Building Systems for Energy Efficient Homes, Planning a Smarter Renovation and How to select a builder for your project.
The highlight of the event was the ‘Speed date an expert’ experience, where expo-goers were able to discuss all stages of their building or renovating project with one of the resident experts. Visitors sat down for a 10 minute one on one appointment to receive tailored advice on their latest project.
Overall, the event was a great event for budding builders and renovation enthusiasts to gain some professional advice and inspiration.
