This outdated, cramped 90s kitchen was struggling to service the needs of the homeowner’s family of four and their pooch, so she set her sights on giving it a revamp as part of a broader renovation of the entire home.
Mediterranean meets Coastal with Geelong Tiles & Bathware, the new kitchen is a far cry from the original space. The floor plan has been reworked, with the old dining room now part of a larger, more open kitchen space conducive to cooking large meals, entertaining guests, and spending quality time with the family around the kitchen’s curved semi-circle island bench.
The homeowner made a conscious choice to lean into the dwelling’s coastal Mediterranean feel when renovating the kitchen. After all, the home is just a 200m walk from the beach – the very definition of a seaside abode.
