For more than 30 years, the Home Ideas Centre has been the iconic destination for homeowners looking for ideas and inspiration related to building or renovating a home.
Based in both Adelaide and Melbourne, the Home Ideas Centre displays building and renovation products and services. There are hundreds of exhibitors permanently on display across the two centres, showcasing the latest in home ideas from kitchen and bathroom designs to bedrooms, living areas, laundries, outdoor living and everything in between.\
It’s exciting times for the Home Ideas Centre. The business was recently purchased from overseas owners and is now proudly
an Australian family business that’s owned by Stewart and Courtney Blake.
“It really doesn’t matter where you are in the home improvement journey,” says Stewart. “From just getting started and in need of some inspiration, through to when you’ve decided on a supplier and need to double check your colour choice — nothing beats being able to browse through so many exhibitors and look, touch and compare.”
As well as being a place where you are able to touch the products, visiting the centre can be a huge time-saver for homeowners. Instead of spending hours in front of a computer randomly searching for information, visitors can leave the centre with dozens of ideas after only an hour
or two.
The past 12 months has seen a surge of new exhibitors, with an excellent representation of Australia’s leading home building and renovating brands now present.
From an exhibitor perspective, the centres are perfect for both small and large businesses. For smaller businesses, the advantages are significant. Having a permanent display that is accessible every weekend can be a huge boost to their businesses exposure.
“We really see ourselves as being an extension of our exhibitor’s businesses, providing service, information and a smiling face to their potential customers seven days a week,” says Courtney.
