Our clients wanted something different for the design, something unique but simple. We believe that we delivered!”

The simple rectangular pool shape and elevated poolside sitting area coupled with the dark paving and pool colour come together to create a unique contrast with the bright green surrounding gardens that act as an attractive frame to the space.

The water colour created by the mottled black glass tile mirrors the native gum located to the rear of the pool during the day and beautifully reflects the garden and house lights at night. This, together with the contemporary square-edge downturn of the paving, makes a bold design statement that showcases the stylish and contemporary home.

A benefit of the dark interior is that it retains heat in all seasons, which, together with the gas booster heater, makes the 15m-long pool the perfect place for the owners, who work long hours and swim for exercise, to dedicate their evenings to. On weekends, the elevated paved entertaining area is a great place to relax and unwind.

The surrounding gardens are planted with low-maintenance species so that the owners are not slaves to the garden.
