When did your business start?
Aussie UnderCover® commenced installations in 2008 and was the first in Australia to develop and locally manufacture an underground pool cover system. Since then, we have gone from strength to strength. We continue to manufacture in Nowra, NSW, supporting local jobs, and supply throughout Australia and internationally.
How is the pool cover hidden?
The Aussie UnderCover® can be covered with decking or tiles, making it virtually invisible! The lid frame supplied in each kit can be covered with tiles up to 20mm thick or timber products up to 35mm thick to completely blend into its environment.
Are the sizes customised?
Kits are available in nine adjustable sizes and each pool cover system is individually customised to suit the height and weight of the product being used to conceal the lid frame.
Are your systems compatible with fibreglass or concrete pools?
Our system suits all fibreglass and precast pools and concrete pools up to 7m wide.
How do you create a perfect match for sizing and materials to suit an existing pool?
We have a database of all preformed fibreglass and concrete pools manufactured in Australia, so our staff are able to quicky advise customers, builders, landscapers etc on the correct-sized system and installation method to match their pool and landscape environment. We are able
to advise and quote off plans as well.
Should I choose a manual or automatic cover?
Many people are not sure whether to go with a manual or automatic system but with the Aussie UnderCover® this is not an issue as all our systems are upgradable from manual winding
to our 24V semi-remote-control system.
What are sustainability aspects?
Pool covers are essential to maintain a good pool balance, retain heat and reduce water loss. The Aussie UnderCover® is designed for longevity and sustainability for environmentally aware consumers. As the pool cover system is easily upgradable there is no need to change the entire system as your needs or wants change.
How easy is installation?
Your pool builder or landscaper can help with this, but all the systems are designed as DIY kits so anyone with handyman skills can give it a go. We are also able to offer video and phone support.
