This architecturally designed home required a beautiful outdoor space that was both functional and sustainable. Kiama Pools & Landscapes carefully combined the clients’ requirements with functionality and appeal to create an outdoor space, swimming pool and spa that perfectly complement their home and lifestyle.
The company constructed the entire outdoor area surrounding the home. “We carefully considered the levels, materials, plant types, colour and position to maximise the views, highlighting the stunning stone and brickwork of the home, says Tim Sprague, co-owner of Kiama Pools & Landscapes. “Additional gardens were added so every living area could enjoy a stunning garden outlook.”
To enhance the elevation of the home, Kiama Pools & Landscapes built multi-tiered garden beds with oversized bluestone steppers leading to the front door. “We constructed courtyard-style gardens on both sides of the home,” Tim explains. On the north side of the property there is a delightful display of colour and texture, with Japanese maples and shrubs adding warmth and colour to the natural bluestone paving. The spectacular swimming pool, spa and outdoor entertainment area is positioned at the rear of the property. The fully tiled swimming pool and inset spa is framed by a fantastic granite water feature wall, timber sundeck and bluestone surrounds.
With features like in-floor cleaning and full automation, the pool and spa require minimal upkeep. A variable speed pump and solar heating help keep energy consumption at bay and irrigation throughout the garden ensures it stays green.
The alfresco area provides a complete outdoor entertaining space and quality paving surrounds look beautiful and are easy to maintain.
