Breathtaking modern pool design

This Malibu Pools and Landscapes pool design fits effortlessly with a stunning Brisbane Valley home and it’s surrounds

The pool and spa combination has the latest in energy-efficient pool technology with an eye-catching infinity edge to the pool. This was created to frame the mountainous views from the house and to create a wet-wall water feature falling into the catchment pond visible from the driveway’s entrance. The use of classic honed sandstone was selected to create a seamless flow between the existing stone areas of the home and the new stone areas of the pool. It’s this attention to detail that makes working with Malibu Pools and Landscapes a unique experience.

Sean Lynch worked with the clients to ensure their ideas were being utilised and took the project from concept to completion. This 12m × 6m pool has formal 500mm play benches and resort-style wet steps into the pool. The play bench also has a bubbling spa nook operated by remote control for a relaxing massage when reclining in the pool. These play benches and steps also create social areas in the pool to take in the views over the wet edge and into the valley.

Most clients want maximum energy-efficiency, both to preserve the environment and the hip pocket. In this case it was achieved by incorporating solar power systems for the pool and spa. LED colour-changing lights and all pool systems are operated by remote control for energy-efficiency and easy operation.

On completion of the project, a semi-frameless glass fence was incorporated to create a picture-perfect finish in the natural bush surrounds.

Malibu Pools and Landscapes is a professional company focused on creating elegant and timeless spaces that integrate into a client’s home in a stunning and seamless fashion.
