The owners of this home employed a designer to create a pool and landscape that brought together all of their wishes. It needed to be contemporary and tasteful to blend with the style of the new home and the Mornington area. The team at East Coast Swimming Pools used their expertise and high-quality workmanship to make the concept an impressive reality.
The 8m x 4m concrete pool is fully tiled in 47mm x 47mm charcoal mosaics, giving it an ethereal dark look which is complemented by Bluestone paving. “This property is on an elevated sloping coastal block that has a view over Bass Strait,” says Colin Sloggett, owner of East Coast Swimming Pools. “The pool is fully founded on 3.5m-deep screw piles due to the site conditions, with one exposed fully formed out of the ground to form part of the pool barrier.”
Spa Electrics LED lights make the pool pop with a magical glow at night and an in-floor cleaning system keeps it looking sparkling at all times, ensuring it’s always ready for summer entertaining or a quiet weekend away with the family.
