The owners engaged a landscape architect to design a pool and garden that integrated into the existing style and feel of the home while being both aesthetically pleasing and functional. With its simple and modern design, the rectangular geometric pool satisfies the owner’s vision and complements the sleek lines of the existing home. The addition of a glass wall on one side transforms the pool into a visually stunning feature.
The pool is tiled in black-glass mosaics, providing the perfect backdrop for the fully automated LED colour-changing lights. The lights reflect the luminous shade of the glass mosaics, flooding the pool in colour and adding a luxurious feel to the overall design.
Water temperature is maintained by a Viron 350 AstralPool gas solar heating system for year-round swimming. A JetVac cleaning system and AstralPool sand filter filtration system ensure maintenance is a breeze for the owners.
Beginning with a clear but simple vision, Urban Escape created the perfect garden oasis with quality workmanship and innovative design. As a result, this project won Bronze at the 2015 Landscape Excellence Awards Residential $75K–$150K.
