Seeing our advertisement “We can use your plans and build at a fixed price”, these clients came to Peninsula Homes after a few knockdown and rebuild designs had been quoted by other builders that were out of their budget.
Working within the clients budget was a priority for this project, while sticking to the core features of the original architectural plans. These clients have a love of various textures and exposed structural elements and we worked to ensure we retained as much of these elements as possible. Peninsula Homes were tasked with setting a workable budget, while re-designing the home to meet all the outlined requirements.
Spread over three levels, the final home not only houses a lift but is decorated in a cutting-edge industrial fashion using recycled bricks in the stairwell, a recycled barn door and a stunning integrated concrete kitchen bench top. Sustainability was paramount to this client and the home boasts an impressive 19 panel solar electricity system, heating elements within the concrete slab and insulation to all external and internal walls and floors.
Due to the home’s unique inclusions and the amazing end result, the residence was featured on Best Houses Australia in 2015.
