Lots to love – For larger families seeking space and luxury, this light and airy two-storey home exceeds all expectations.
When you’re looking for space, space and more space, the luxurious Enigma 46 from MOJO Homes is for you. “There’s just so much to love here,” says Paul Hogan, State Sales Manager of MOJO Homes.
“You’ll be drawn up the light-filled stairway to the first floor where you’ll find five spacious bedrooms, including a well-appointed master suite, along with a very generous children’s activity area and large family bathroom.
“And there’s simply loads of space downstairs,” continues Paul. “There is a large family living area that flows seamlessly to an outdoor living space, a home theatre and a separate study giving you plenty of flexibility.”
This is a home that creates perfect zones for sleep, work and play. The ground floor also features a home office, laundry, large walk-in pantry and kitchen, all to the left hand side of the home. These open onto a dining, living and media room to the right hand side and a large alfresco to the rear. On the first floor, four bedrooms are nestled close to the children’s activity room, with a generous master suite at the front of the home, complete with a balcony that provides a place of retreat for a quiet Sunday morning coffee.
A nautical feel is definitely evident in the home. “This can be seen in the light and bright colour palette that features blue accents and textured surfaces, all warmed up with an oak timber floor,” explains Paul. “A feature used throughout is the tongue and groove panelling, which creates a classical feel reminiscent of a grand Classic Hamptons home.
“The blue accents start as soon as you enter the home, with the study lined in a chic stripe wallpaper called Flamant Les Rayeures. A classic desk with comfy visitors’ chairs make this space perfect for working from home. The home theatre uses a subtler stripe wallpaper with a pale blue design called Fabian. Coastal highlights in the room include the lattice detailing to the entertainment unit and the cute pineapple table lamp”.
“The rear living area of this home is the real showstopper,” adds Paul. “The combined kitchen, dining and living room, plus adjoining grand outdoor living area, really make this home a true entertainer’s dream. In this space, we have anchored the room with a dramatic feature wall at the end of the living area painted in Taubmans Deep Ocean. The comfortable furnishings in crisp white contrast the deep navy tones, adding a little more drama to the space.”
The navy colour is echoed in the base cabinets in the kitchen opposite, with the Berrilee panelled doors from Polytec in Taubmans Deep Ocean polyurethane finish. The overheads are in the Polytec Blossom colour, giving the two-tone kitchen a classic country Hamptons feel. The benchtop is in Caesarstone’s Cosmopolitan White, which features a pale white vein running through a soft grey background. The top is thicker on the island bench, adding a traditional Hamptons-style touch.
“Upstairs, we’ve painted the children’s activity area in Deep Ocean and for contrast on the panelling, used Taubmans Winter Ice,” highlights Paul. “Also on the first floor, the master suite features blue wallpaper behind the bedhead, a design called Shinok 7281. The soft blue provides a stylish backdrop to the dramatic navy-coloured pinned bedhead and crisp whites of the bedlinen.”
For added luxury, this particular home is fitted out with MOJO’s Iconic Collection Upgrades. These can be seen throughout the Enigma 46, in everything from the finishes used in the kitchen, bathroom and laundry to the ceiling heights, flooring, staircase and generous alfresco.
“We have made the most of the larger, upgraded grand outdoor living space by including a dining and lounge area as well as a sunken fire pit to the rear of the yard,” says Paul. “This puts the all-important finishing touch to the ground floor of this entertainer’s home.”
To complement the interior design, the Enigma 46 display home features a Coastal Hamptons facade employing a dramatic navy colour scheme. This gives it maximum street appeal and provides a hint of the visual delights that await once you step through the front door.
