“This all-white kitchen is a stark difference to the previous, dated timber space. The kitchen had been located next to the entrance of the house, away from the dining and living spaces. Our first change was the major relocation of the kitchen to a more central part of the home.”

“The design draws on traditional elements in this light and bright space, included through the Shaker-style cabinetry fronts, a decorative mantle and Villeroy & Boch butler’s sink. The marble-look benchtop is a gorgeous addition to this white wonderland, the incredible veins adding a touch of the natural to the kitchen. As the new kitchen is open plan, a display cabinet for decorations and glassware was a lovely way to showcase the family’s treasures while providing accessibility to glassware. The white kitchen is equipped with plenty of comfortable storage, with internal Blum drawers throughout and each corner unit accessible through Blum and Häfele mechanisms. A hidden bar area was also included in the plans and creates a special atmosphere during house parties. The fresh look of the kitchen complements the entire property and creates an impact with its breezy ambience.”
