Warm and homely kitchen design

Using red splashbacks and floating timber floorboards, this cold kitchen has been transformed by Let’s Talk Kitchens into a warm, inviting family home.

“Our kitchen design was part of a larger renovation project for a family who are experienced with the renovation process. They wanted to open up views to the rear of the home and pool area so we designed the kitchen with this in mind. The red glass splashback and timber veneer add warmth to the gloss white panels and Caesarstone benchtops which were selected to suit the home’s architecture. We prefer not to have cut-outs in panelled splashbacks so power is conveniently supplied by an EVOline Power Tower. This unit is concealed in the corner overhead cupboards and is pulled down when needed. Storage was also a high priority for the owners who came to us with a long shopping list of storage needs. There is a pull-out pantry and at the bar, three bifold doors open up to expose the wine rack. Strategic lighting adds a final touch of contemporary glamour.”
