This vintage white and black kitchen defines good looks and functionality with timeless elements.
It’s all wrapped up in a contemporary package. Before the renovation, the standard white classic kitchen was in need of refurbishment to modernise it and give it a more contemporary feel.
In the new kitchen, the black and white benchtop blends well with black appliances and the white refrigerator. A sprinkling of gold accents adds a touch of luxury.
The overall aesthetic is clean and modern, with slim black tiles creating a beautiful backdrop. The Shaker cabinetry is sophisticated and cultured.

The owners wanted to create a modern aesthetic, with some luxurious finishes, while also respecting the home’s historical character
Solution
Creating a classic-style kitchen with a modern vintage twist. The challenge was to ensure the right balance between preserving the historical significance of the property and investing in modern amenities. With the right colours, textures and combination of materiality, this was artfully achieved
