This Kitchen Truly is One for the Technically Minded

Thanks to the team at Inset Kitchens, the space has been designed with many electro-mechanical elements that make using the space a seamless experience.

The island bench has a clever slide-back section to reveal the cooktop, steamer and downdraft extraction unit. This makes the kitchen feel open and more like a part of the living space than a designated “cooking area”.

All drawers installed throughout the room feature electro-mechanical push-to-open technology. Not only is this convenient, but it also offers a handle-less look that helps the kitchen appear spacious. The SubZero fridge and freezer are fully integrated, ensuring the room is sleek and that a sense of flow from the living area remains prominent.

In keeping with this streamlined aesthetic, an electronic lowering cabinet in the butler’s pantry allows you to make coffee at your convenience, then hide the clutter with a simple touch. A small appliance cupboard is also located inside the butler’s pantry.

Yet the technology doesn’t end there. Electronic dropdown power point posts complete with USB slots are stationed in each corner of the butler’s pantry, allowing you to plug in whatever you need with ease. LED task lighting ensures your prep work will always be precise and safe in this space. Finally, a pull-out table and a pull-out pantry are positioned to the left and right of the Vintec wine fridges — one for reds and one for whites. Kick rail vacuum sweep chutes in the island and butler’s pantry make cleaning your kitchen easy.
