“This design embodies the beauty of a bespoke kitchen. Most conspicuously, the usual reliance on overhead cabinetry as part of a standard layout is negated due to the skillion roof and so alternative storage is provided by a large walk-in pantry, successfully freeing up the equally generous yet sleek island bench for food prep and consumption. On a less obvious level, as both owners are tall and one is a recipe developer who makes the kitchen their workspace for long periods, the benchtop height was ergonomically made to measure.
