The design of this kitchen could read like the beginnings of a personals ad. Tall ceilings, dark colours and an incredibly handsome design have resulted in a space that is more than just easy on the eye — it’s a perfect kitchen match.
The palette in this room is bold and daring. Dark cabinetry and the striking honed mosaic splashback from Geelong Tiles & Bathware set the mood, with the wooden feature roof, upper walls and table providing relief and some much-needed warmth.
This warmth is then expanded upon with the metallic elements in the lighting, and tap and feature handles that add personality.
Tall ceilings create a dramatic feel in this space, with their height further emphasised by the pendant lighting. This use of the room’s full height ensures that despite the dark tones, the space feels well illuminated. Floor-to-ceiling windows also provide natural light.
All these elements marry together to create a kitchen that is absolutely striking, with seamless appliance integration adding further to the room’s appeal.
