Filled with delightfully unexpected features and functionality that would make a workhorse feel lazy, clap your eyes on this outstanding kitchen where all is well but nothing is as it seems.

Take the laundry, for example. Hidden behind tall doors that match the rest of the pale-green cabinetry, the concealed space is just one of many surprises awaiting anyone who enters. Indeed, unless it was explicitly shown, you’d never know this kitchen allows its user to go from boiling pasta to soaking undies, which is just the way the owner intended it.

The laundry isn’t the only element kept under wraps. The microwave and other small appliances are concealed to keep benchspace clear while still remaining easily accessible. Exposed beams add interest overhead and provide a refined rustic feel to the setting.

By integrating Shaker-style doors with VJ panels, the designer has imbued the kitchen with warmth and charm, creating a welcoming space that borrows elements from both Country and Hamptons aesthetics. The VJ panels soften the entire space by bringing restrained touches of Country into a Hamptons-inspired kitchen. Minty fresh with hidden gems at every turn, there’s no denying this kitchen deserves a pat on the back and a fat steak to celebrate.
