Seamless Integration from Room to Room

Gallery

Kitchen Art’s director Milad Salameh was given free rein by the homeowners when he was called on to design a brand-new kitchen.

The owners of the new build in southern Sydney wanted the laundry and pantry to be concealed and for the kitchen’s appliances to be integrated, but the rest was up to Milad.

The kitchen’s design is cleverly integrated with the rest of the home, with seamless transitions between the living room and open-plan kitchen. The fireplace, TV unit and walls are wrapped in Cafe Oak Ravine. Select cabinetry in matching Cafe Oak Ravine are complemented by polyurethane shadowline cabinet doors in Domino, which provide a consistent look with the adjoining spaces.

The Super White dolomite island bench can comfortably sit five at mealtimes. The oven and dishwasher came from Miele, while the fully integrated refrigerator is from Fisher & Paykel. A Franke sink and Zip tap add to the polished look.

Kitchen storage in the form of a pull-out pantry, baskets and bin were sourced from Blum. LED strip and pendant lighting brightens up the kitchen, with windows across the far wall also allowing in natural light.
