Renovating a kitchen to include more storage, while at the same time increasing space for entertaining is not always an easy task.

The original kitchen was lacking a good flow and storage for its residents, in addition it was not an appealing area for entertaining. The homeowners were thrilled with the opportunity of their kitchen renovation transformation, prioritising hardwearing surfaces and a functional layout.

TK Design faced additional challenges in incorporating the new design within the original footprint and working with existing floor cut lines. Unusual wall angles further complicated the project. However, the team skilfully combined various colours and surfaces to create a space that exceeded the clients’ expectations. The updated design not only includes an island but also a walk-in pantry, maximising functionality while adhering to the original layout.

The renovated kitchen now provides an improved entertaining space and ample storage to conceal the clients’ extensive collection of gadgets. The clients opted for Staron Solid Surface in Mosaic Dalmatian for both the window and island benchtop, while the cooktop area features 34mm Folded Stainless Steel, harmonising with the Mosaic Dalmatian and offering the desired durability for a hardwearing and functional layout.

The revamped kitchen offers numerous niches for personalisation, allowing the homeowners to showcase the items that contribute to the warm and inviting ambiance of the space.
