“The family wanted a sleek kitchen and loads of storage space to keep the kitchen looking tidy and clean. We started by creating storage space through the use of drawers and went with a handleless design, adhering to a sleek profile. Further storage options were created through the construction of a separate butler’s pantry to house the family’s appliances. There are a few ‘coffee fiends’ in the house so a stand- alone coffee station was a must. The island, splashback and coffee station feature a two-tone black granite. The use of the black granite offers functionality, style, and creates a sense of balance. The black and white colour scheme creates contrast in the room and fosters a modern feel.”
