Seeking to complement the original architecture of the building, this humble kitchen was in need of an upgrade both in aesthetics and function.

Premier Kitchens transforms a humble space into an opulent haven. The building was originally designed by world-renowned international designer Renzo Piano and it was important to the homeowners that the renovation respected the building’s heritage and did not disturb the original craftsmanship.

To provide a much-needed refresh to the kitchen, Premier Kitchens stepped in to create an opulent, modern space. Bathed in luxury, the kitchen was transformed from a small, ageing space into a sophisticated, rich culinary zone.

A stunning Blue Terra natural stone was selected in collaboration with the clients as a stand-out feature for the island counter and backsplash.

Engulfing the spotlight, the stone not only provides an expansive work station for entertaining and cooking, but also an intricate display of art in the heart of the home, showcasing an array of layered patterns that provide exquisite texture.

The stone’s earthy palette ties in with the orange accents seen in the adjoining entertaining areas and complements the wood-look cabinetry and extensive pantry. Providing increased storage solutions for the kitchen, Blum hardware with black internals adds a contrast to the warm colours of the kitchen’s overall aesthetic.
