An unusual, retro-style kitchen is transformed into a simple but stunning family kitchen
Previously this was a 1970s retro kitchen with a narrow floorplan and unusual angles, in desperate need of a new design. With no drawers, just cupboards, space was also an issue that needed to be addressed.
Kitchen Trends began the process of remodelling the kitchen with the aim of meeting the clients’ request for a modern kitchen design with a simple clean lined and open feel. To achieve this, a wall was removed to the adjoining dining room to create an open plan feel and free up space in the kitchen.
A minimalist look to the kitchen was achieved via the use of new open seat space, breakfast bar and Polytec Natural Oak Ravine overheads, with the streamline handles particularly effective.
