Our client wanted a Hamptons-style kitchen with modern functionality and a dedicated area for breakfast and tea and coffee preparation. The purpose-built breakfast/tea and coffee station is easily accessible, but innovatively concealed by a large motorised shutter door. Timber structural posts were encased with plaster and turned into a feature of the kitchen.
Combined with mood lighting through LED downlights, our client’s special treasures collected over the years have been highlighted, adding a personal touch to the space. To maximise the storage in the kitchen, we stacked the multiple ovens vertically, including the microwave on top.
The beautiful quartz benchtop complements the cabinetry and white subway tile splashback. Large open windows flood the room with natural light and provide amazing views of the beautiful scenery. This new designer kitchen now reflects the rural surrounds of the homestead.
