The homeowners requested a modern, functional kitchen for their newly built home. The result most certainly lives up to their brief — and features some exciting added extras too.
Practicality was paramount, and this kitchen is brimming with it. Two wall ovens and plentiful bench space were integrated into the space to ensure meal prep is a breeze. Internal drawers were added for storage, and a window splashback was chosen to give the homeowners the opportunity to admire their garden’s greenery while cooking meals.
This space features a highly practical scullery, which is hidden from plain sight. It includes cabinetry for the storage of small appliances, canned goods and spices.
The kitchen’s cantilevered seating area, however, is very much in plain sight. It provides the perfect location for the family to bond over breakfast, and a spot for drinks and nibbles during social gatherings. The sliding door located just beyond the kitchen leads out to a beautiful alfresco area, which features plenty of seating as well as a pool. When it come to modern practicality, it really doesn’t get much better than this!
