“This kitchen renovation was designed to fit within an old farmhouse — which had been passed down from generation to generation — while still giving the homeowner a modern way of life. Each generation has made its mark on the house and the owner wanted to remodel the kitchen with a walk-in pantry to evoke a modern interpretation of farmhouse style. We designed the space to be made of materials that were easy to maintain, but would still have a high visual impact.
The white colour palette of the space is light and refreshing and gives the room a spacious feel. A new glass window and door were installed to bring in natural light, while extensive cabinetry and a walk-in pantry provide effective storage. The owner now loves coming home after a long day out on the farm to spend time in this beautiful and relaxing space, which is now the well-loved heart of the home.”
