A light and bright design which updates traditional Victorian and country styles to a modern kitchen
“A ‘modern take on a country kitchen’ was how my clients described the vision for their new kitchen, which was part of a substantial renovation of their charming Victorian terrace in inner suburban Sydney. A simple Shaker style was chosen for the cabinetry, open shelves were included at either end of the island bench with an elegant granite benchtop featuring a moulded edge to echo the Victorian features of the house. There’s optimal storage via large drawers on the island bench, tall cupboards reaching almost to the ceiling, soft close hardware on all doors and drawers, and Miele appliances throughout. Collaborating with builder, Ben Peat, the open plan of the kitchen complements the new living space with its floor to ceiling windows, flooding the room with natural light. The white palette of the kitchen showcases the beautiful garden courtyard, providing a stunning outlook to the room and a perfect place to entertain.”
