In their pursuit of a kitchen that seamlessly integrates aesthetics and functionality, Boomerang Cabinets worked diligently to incorporate Staron with the striking timber detail of the joinery. Their primary goal was to find surfaces that would harmonize perfectly with their design vision. After careful consideration, they chose Staron, a material that exceeded expectations in terms of flexibility and visual appeal.
For the island unit, Boomerang Cabinets selected Staron for the benchtop, a choice that eliminates the need for unsightly silicon in kitchen applications. This not only makes Staron incredibly easy to maintain but also ensures a hygienic food preparation surface due to it also having a non-porous nature. Staron in Terrazzo Como gracefully flows from the benchtop to the splashbacks and into the custom sink, creating a fully moulded and visually stunning application. To enhance the allure of the island, Staron in Terrazzo Como was also used to clad the face of the island bench, transforming it into a striking stonelike facade. A unique feature that comes to life with its custom routed design, adding a touch of distinction.
Continuing Staron onto the back benchtop, Terrazzo Como flows from bench to wall with a 50mm coved return detail that seamlessly joins to Staron Bright White. This comprehensive splashback and the inclusion of floating shelves result in an easy-to-clean surface around the cooking zone. Task strip lighting integrated into the shelf detail achieves a sleek and modern finish. Staron proves its versatility once again by becoming the perfect surface for crafting bespoke handle details. Boomerang Cabinets’ collection of custom created handles in Terrazzo Como adds a touch of sophistication to their joinery.
