A Sophisticated Space Designed for Entertaining

For this project, the clients were after a sophisticated space where they could entertain guests in a heartbeat.

This meant ample space was needed for food and drink preparation, as well as enough room for guests to comfortably sit without cluttering the kitchen.

Pristine Kitchen

To achieve this, the team at Premier Kitchens removed a wall that separated the living area and the kitchen. In doing so, they were able to create a large open-plan layout that maximised space. It even provided for a butler’s pantry and bar area.

The white colour palette contrasts nicely with the black appliances, including the oven and wine refrigerator. This combination creates an almost monochrome look, but because of how dominant the white shade is, the kitchen still feels calm, casual and cool.

Meanwhile, the woody hues from the flooring and LED lighting, paired with the bar chairs, give the kitchen a coastal mood, adding to the relaxing ambience this kitchen exudes.

But the hero of this beautiful space is the curved island bench with a waterfall stone benchtop. Made from Talostone Calacatta Oro, this unique material displays an intricate array of golden beige veining. Simple yet sophisticated, it’s also practical; its smooth surface is easy to clean and super durable, perfect for food preparation or accidental spills from wine and drinks.

This stunning project by Premier Kitchens is a perfect example of how contrasting shades and elements can complement each other to create a light, airy and modern kitchen aesthetic.

Beautiful, Easy Living

The kitchen space is open plan, so colours and finishes were chosen to create a warm and inviting feel. Deep greys, timber, stainless steel and soft whites add character and interest.

Ace in space

While many homeowners lament a lack of space for their dream kitchen, that was certainly not the case in this room from Wood, Marble & White.
