The kitchen’s walls and island bench feature natural timber cladding, lending that natural aesthetic to the space, while the design of the island bench draws inspiration from the shapes and hues found in trees. Just like the rings, layers, trunk and green top of a tree, the island bench is layered with stained timber and topped with a green Silestone surface.

Green and Wooden kitchen feature

To harmonise the kitchen’s scale with the rest of the house, an opening above the cooktop was created, providing a view into the butler’s pantry. An integrated fridge/freezer is located between the kitchen and pantry. A dry ager and wine fridge has also been added, reflecting the clients’ passion for fine dining. The curved floor design was extended to the glass wall of the whisky room, highlighting the display beautifully. In the master suite, the natural aesthetic was also incorporated in the design. The bedroom features expansive windows offering unobstructed views of the surrounding parkland, so hanging plants now enhance the nature theme.

Additionally, natural timber wall cladding in a deep ebony hue has been installed. Green bathroom fixtures, hints of copper fixtures and a combination of matte and gloss white rectangle tiles sit alongside the neutral wall palette, deliberately chosen to allow the green and copper elements to shine. A planter box was crafted to serve as a partition, separating the bed area from the retreat space.
