In response to the brief, Jo ingeniously crafted a space-efficient L-shaped outdoor kitchen with minimal impact, ensuring it flawlessly assimilates with the surrounding environment. The open workbench, cleverly incorporated, serves not only as a practical cooking area, but also doubles as a delightful serving station for guests.
Boasting an L-shaped layout, this kitchen offers an abundance of workspace and storage options, catering to even the most demanding culinary enthusiasts. Equipped with a Condair rangehood with three motors, it provides excellent ventilation and task lighting, ensuring a comfortable and efficient cooking experience.
The chef’s dream setup comprises a generous barbecue, a convenient wok burner, and nearby utensil drawers and pull-out racks for oil and spices, facilitating seamless meal preparation and organisation.
The team at Interior Design by Jo skilfully considered essential factors such as the spotted gum timber decking and strategic sink placement, ensuring a smooth connection to the existing internal kitchen’s waste system. Additionally, the exposed gabled roof sits under gum tree branches, making it necessary to safeguard the rangehood by installing it under the eaves for added protection.
The cabinetry’s elegant Resene Evolution colour exudes sophistication, while LED downlights add a touch of ambient charm during evening gatherings.
