‘How much should a kitchen renovation cost?’ PART 1
KITCHEN COST: $5000-$10,000
A flat-pack kitchen is a great option if you need to keep costs down and can be installed as a DIY job. Alternatively, many flat-pack companies offer installation as an additional charge if this service is required.
In this example, a galley-style kitchen has been fitted with two banks of cupboards with the tall doors on the right hiding an alcove which keeps the refrigerator concealed. The length of shorter cabinets is accented by matching upper cabinets for additional storage. Neutral tones are a great choice for a small space as the colour scheme recedes visually and can make the room appear larger.
It’s important to note that, in this price bracket, designer items such as the stone benchtop, splashback and appliances are not included in the package. Design / SmartPack Kitchens. smartpackkit.com.au
