“The owners needed a functional kitchen that they could be proud of when entertaining affluent guests. A modern look is achieved through the use of handleless cupboards that maintain the elegant look of the overall design. The drinks and wine fridge is situated in an elevated position to not only allow ease of access but to create balance as its position is mimicked by the steam oven located at the opposite end of the kitchen. The silver travertine marble island bar offers ample seating and is ideal for entertaining. The colours of the glass splashback are perfectly complemented by the Jarrah wood floors. This kitchen’s design takes innovation one step further utilising Aventos Servo-Drive lift-up cupboard doors that have only recently become available in the Australian market. The butler’s kitchen, located out of sight, offers ash white cupboards and practical stainless-steel working benches with ample storage that allow main work areas to be kept out of sight, freeing up the island bar to be used for entertainment.”
