With fine detailing including light illuminating off a glass splashback, this kitchen oozes glamour
“The owners were after a complete modernisation of the space and the removal of some of the original design flaws to create an open, family-friendly kitchen.
The original peninsula bench was converted into an island design that incorporated a steel support post, providing two access points to the kitchen and an open cooking area. The simple cabinetry in contrasting white and grey gloss provides plenty of storage and adds a touch of drama.
The upper cabinetry above the cooktop has continuous LED task lighting to provide ample light and is complemented nicely by the toughened coloured-glass splashback.
A small pantry with a roll-up Tambour shutter is located to the right of the cooktop so appliances can be easily utilised. The compact storage and light reconstituted stone benchtop create a wide, open kitchen that works for cooking and entertaining.”
