A renovation that saw walls and windows removed, all new cabinetry installed and a neo-Georgian style invoked has truly resulted in a kitchen that will linger in your mind.
As you step inside this space from Degabriele Kitchens, your eyes will feast on a room rich in delight. One feature is the well-laid-out scullery that includes a Zip tap and microwave. An antique mirror splashback nods to the room’s theme and makes the area feel larger.
The bifolds to this scullery are the same width as the integrated fridge, allowing for that symmetrical aesthetic that is a hallmark of the neo-Georgian style. Detailing in the moulding and cabinetry, as well as the proud kickboards custom-made by Degabriele, create an effect that flirts with both grandeur and elegance.
Yet for all this beauty, practicality still reigns supreme in this space. The mantle is bordered by beautiful marble side shelves to store all those everyday cooking items, with a pot-filler on hand for easy access. A wall had to be filled in, but Degabriele installed slimline shelving that enabled this potentially dead space to remain functional.
One of our favourite features of the room is the bifolds that open to the exterior entertaining and pool area, extending the footprint of the kitchen and making this feel like a true place of celebration.
