So much of our time indoors is spent wishing we were outdoors — so why not invite the outdoors in?
Windows create extra light and can also enhance that indoor/outdoor living we’re all craving after spending so much time cooped up inside.
The owners of this room certainly felt the need for a change. The Eco 1 Kitchens team renovated the old and tired kitchen, giving it a vibrant, clean makeover that incorporated
a gorgeous large window over the sink, allowing for views into the vibrant green garden.
But that’s not the only element of this room that was changed. The old rotting cabinets were updated, with more storage included and a fresh white colour scheme enhancing a sense of space.
The pop of aqua in the splashback adds a sense of charm and creates a feature that doesn’t compete with the view from the window — it simply complements it.
One of our favourite elements of this space, however, is the provincial style. Clever choices when it came to handles, cabinetry profiles and even appliances have resulted in a kitchen that feels modern, yet suits the 1926 home it is fitted in.
