Functional, edgy and spacious kitchen design

Gallery

With clean lines, an abundance of space and neutral colours, this Jayen Innovation kitchen design using Samsung Staron Solid Surfaces is both functional and easy on the eyes

“This design focused on maximising space, so we decided on a galley style kitchen. We designed an island benchtop made with Staron Solid Surfaces that extends into a breakfast bar area supported by a waterfall edge that continues to the floor. The smooth seamless finish creates a sense of space and provides an abundance of bench space. We also included an integrated Staron splashback around the sink area as well as an appliance cupboard on the oven side. Making this section entirely out of Staron has provided the client with an easy-to-clean surface with the durability that’s required in such a high traffic area. The colour Sanded Tundra was selected for the benchtop as it emulates the industrial grey colour of concrete that the owner desired, while having the performance and non-porous properties of a premium solid surface. The contrast between the crispness of the cabinetry against the Staron benchtop creates beauty and impact. The result is a smooth, inviting and functional kitchen space.”
