Fresh Kitchen Makeover

When Fresh Kitchen Solutions took on this project, the first order of business was designing a space that was user-friendly. A kitchen spoilt with drawer space and pullout units was the obvious solution.

Boasting three sets of drawers, two sink drawers and multiple pull-outs (one for spices, one for oils, one for trays as well as pull-out innerpantry drawers), there is quite literally a place for everything.

Muted and earthy, the subtle colouring of the kitchen allows the Sensa Granite Taj Mahal benchtops to take centre stage. Providing that all-important wow factor, the granite exudes luxury with natural flair.

A champagne metallic finish covers the cabinetry and ties in with the kitchen’s colour palette, which is punctuated by a bronze mirror splashback. The gloss finish, in addition to minimal handles and integrated appliances, makes short work of cleaning and provides a simple and elegant aesthetic.

Five decorative plates are among some of the clients’ most treasured possessions. The Bora X Pure cooktop was selected so an overhead rangehood would not be required. This allowed the overheads to be split into solid doors and glass doors so the clients’ plates had somewhere to be displayed. Floating above the upper cabinets and encased behind glass, the plates are illuminated with LED strip lighting in a 45-degree diff user channel that shines light onto the face of the plates.

Easy to maintain and sympathetic to the style and furnishings of the home, this kitchen is the user-friendly space its owners have longed to live with.
