A contemporary kitchen with a touch of nature

Earthly timbers add a touch of nature in this contemporary kitchen

“This new contemporary kitchen incorporates earthy timbers with a light and bright colour palette. The integrated shelving not only makes for practical storage, the contrast of textures also creates a unique and inviting space.

The owners used the timber material for its colour and practical application. Centred by black pendant lights, the Caesarstone island benchtop includes a built-in breakfast bar, perfect for casual dining. A study nook has also been cleverly integrated into the space as part of the timber shelving.

Behind the main kitchen, a butler’s pantry features extra bench preparation space and a second sink with a sliding door to quickly hide any mess and clutter. The design is impeccably balanced into a serene and welcoming family space.”
