The dynamic mix of colours and materials adds visual interest and depth
“This once small kitchen has been transformed into a striking open space with an eye-catching play on colours and light. Once the original walls were removed, we had a clean palette to create the dynamic open-plan kitchen the owners desired.
Taking full advantage of the space, the island bench and integrated table create a sophisticated centrepiece. Concrete angles combine with the natural timber tones of the recycled blackbutt table to create a stunning effect. This organic palette of timber and stone is brought to life by the playful mosaic splashback, which dances in the natural light and lends an incredible vibrancy to the space.
Every practical element of design has been considered to maximise space, from the corner drawers and pull-out pantry to the integrated wall unit and handles.
Premium appliances are carefully integrated to balance the kitchen — the French Door refrigerator on one wall, the Westinghouse oven on the other. New patio doors create a seamless connection to the surroundings, completing this picture-perfect kitchen.”
