Set in a fairly confined space, this kitchen — which is currently on display in Bunnings Warehouse — is modern, functional, and adds a country-feel to any property.
“This kitchen is special in its design as it has managed to make a smaller space feel and function like a larger kitchen. The careful choice of country-profile doors with antique bow handles creates subtle interest and texture without being overstated and cluttered in such a small area. The whole family loves the new kitchen; it’s a breath of fresh air in a previously tired and well-worn space. Little changes in its design have made a huge difference in the way we are able to use and interact with it — and each other while cooking up a storm. As much as we would have liked to extend the kitchen space, the configuration of the house would have resulted in an expensive renovation bill. Instead, we opted to keep the shape and space we already had but focused on making the kitchen more functional and adding additional storage wherever we possibly could. The cabinet facing out into the dining room is the perfect space for storing platters and things we use for entertaining and larger gatherings.”
