The team at Kitchens U Build were called on to design and build a classic-style kitchen that would be functional, modern and would boast lots of storage.
One of the main design considerations for this project was to ensure the joinery suited the style of the newly built home, which reflected a farmhouse aesthetic. With the pantry running off the kitchen, the joinery was completed in stages so that the pantry could function as a full kitchen while the main one was being built.
The result is a beautiful kitchen area that boasts ample storage solutions and good-quality finishes. The smaller details in this space speak volumes, in particular the tap and handle elections. The main kitchen comes alive with its brass accents, juxtaposed against crisp-white cabinetry and drawers and white marble-look Caesarstone benchtop. The walk-in pantry showcases a mixture of matt-black handles and brushed-steel tapware and sink, the space allowing for meal preparation without the need to disrupt the main kitchen.
The profiling of the main kitchen is neat and timeless while adhering to the farmhouse style impeccably. The addition of glass-panelled cabinets in this area to house glassware offers a delightful glimpse into this kitchen’s storage capability. With all bases having been covered in this kitchen’s design, the homeowners will be enjoying the heart of their home for years to Come.
