“This elegant and modern kitchen was designed as part of a renovation of the existing home. Bold contrast is a strong element in this design — the Polytec black fine-grain horizontal cabinet doors are juxtaposed against the light floor, balanced by the Polytec Marni Lini fine-grain vertical tall cabinet doors.
The new windows are used as a splashback and allow for an exceptional amount of natural light to flow through the space and the materials to be seen in their finest form. Upon entering the space, your eyes are instantly directed to the bold splashback behind the hotplate, which adds character to the overall design. The kitchen has been designed in a way that utilises the maximum possible space for storage, as overhead cabinets were not an option. There is also an exceptional amount of working space available on the Silestone Altair benchtops, which also offers a place to dine. The cabinetry beside the fridge is used as a display and utilises the space in the corner while softening the look of the glass LED shelves above, which add character to the kitchen and complement the bold splashback.”
