Intelligent design, harmonious finishes and a bewitching sense of style — it has to be black magic that makes this kitchen so appealing.
Featured here is the K2 system from Cantilever Interiors, which allows flexibility when it comes to developing a style palette. This freedom of choice allows the homeowner to marry the kitchen to the theme of the house, as seen in this striking example.
The project was a new architectural build, the brief requested dark cabinetry, and marble benchtops. The Cantilever team suggesting ‘Domino’, a neutral graphite black that gives the joinery a softer presence and teams with the concrete aggregrate floors and Besser blocks for a textured dynamic, with native timbers for warmth.
The layout takes on a classic Cantilever typography, with a service free central Island, open shelving and signature handles. The design allows a compact footprint to feel spacious, with detailed hardware inclusions and conscious ergonomics providing ample, efficient storage.
The accompanying study joinery in the living space complements the kitchen palette, with the entrance to the home further mirroring this streamlined aesthetic.
